  • Screw the critics

This movie is one of my all time favorites, and always will be. The critics rate this film a 40% out of 100% and these cynical self entitled people couldn’t be farther from the truth. It’s fresh, it’s funny, and love for their story is contagious. The story these characters share is as unique as any music festival patron.
  • Some really great parts to this movie

The story is a clever idea, and that its filmed at real music festival is really great. There are some dull bits, but the great bits are really wonderful. The main actors have great chemistry and are a lot of fun together, and the scenes where the main characters are on stage are just fabulous… A few of the scenes are among my very favorite from any movie, ever..

Disregard the rotten tomatoes, this is an incredible gem of a movie. It is a story about connection, opportunity, chance, intervention, honesty, and my favorite part of all: music and its power to unite people together. This movie could only be filmed at a huge music festival to truly prove its point. Take a chance: watch this movie.

I loved this movie so much, I needed the music. At first i couldnt find it on itunes, but after a while I got it. Just search "You Instead", the first song that plays in the movie, and the album comes up! Hope it helps. :)

I was really excited to watch this film although I was a little diss appointed that the music scene wasn't what I thought it was going to be, I expected it to be more of a heady atmosphere but I was sadly was still a cute movie, the main actors did a good job together and it seemed like they really did have some on set chemistry
